Little River Band members have been to court over the use of the band's moniker. Guitarist Stephen Housden, who joined the band in the early 1980s, has retained the rights to use the name Little River Band while guitarist Beeb Birtles, singer Glenn Shorrock and guitarist Graeham Goble lost their battle for the use of the Little River Band name. The Australian band was formed in 1975. Instead, they will now perform as Beeb Birtles, Glenn Shorrock and Graeham Goble.

Housden's Wee Too Pty
Ltd. purchased the Little River Band name from the original three members in the early 1990's.
